The 22^nd China Welding Exposition rounded off in Nanjing

From September 25 to 27, 2008, the 22^nd China Welding Exposition was successfully held in Nanjing International Exhibition Center! Sponsored by China Electrical Industrial Association and Chengdu Electric Welding Machine Institute, it was also supported Nanjing People’s Government and Jiangsu Mechanical Industry Union. Besides, it was cosponsored by 5 top national associations and institutions including China Shipping Association, China Petrochemical Association, China Heavy Machinery Association, China Workers’ Welding Association, China Ordnance Association, and Nanjing Branch, China International Trade Promotion Committee.

The fair attracted about 15 thousand professional visitors at home and abroad. With about 300 exhibitors, 800 booths, and 21,000 m² exhibition area, a large number of automatic welding system, digital inverter welding power source, inverter welding machine with constant voltage, flux cored wire, mid-frequency resistance welding controller, special data surfacing machine and etc. Compared to the previous sessions, the brand-new moves including brand creation activity “Made-in-Chengdu”, the first art festival and etc. made the fair feature products with high technical content, many large equipment/automatic products, rich activities, extensive source of visitors and etc. on the condition that the whole international economy is in recession.

In the same period when the fair was being held, 3 welding technology exchange activities including ASEM Welding Standard Process & Equipment Seminar, Forum about Development and Discussion of Inverter Welding Power Source, Technical Seminar of Jiangsu and Nanjing Mechanical Engineering Institute were also organized. Meanwhile, the 6^th Demonstration of Welding Elites and the Excellent Welders’ Presentation in Jiangsu Shipping Industry were also held.
